DIY: Dyed & Distressed Pt. 1

Cleaning out my closet has paid off! I found three oversized white t-shirts tucked away in the corner of my dresser drawers, perfect candidates for the dyeing I’ve been planning to do since last August. Initially, I was going to dip-dye them but I decided to just scrunch them up and tie everything together with ribbon to get a texture going.

I used Ocean Blue by DYLON which I purchased at some random craft supply store. They sat in the dye for only about 20 minutes even though the package suggested an hour. The texture came out looking like blue marble, much to my liking.

I’m planning to distress all of them, like I mentioned in the post below, and turn one into a slutty tank top. Maybe even some stud action…? I don’t know. That’ll all be in another post though as I decided to do all of this at 11pm and now I’m pooped!
