Givenchy Haute Couture Autumn/Winter 2010

Photos:Vogue UK

Oh. My. God. This is some next level Thora Birch as Empress Savina in Dungeons and Dragons type shit that Tisci has just pulled out right here. Perhaps he heard of my intense apathy towards Givenchy and finally decided to cater to one of my only weaknesses other than food: fantasy royal raiment. Can you not see Galadriel, Amidala, or Firiona Vie (Everquest reference, oops!) throwing a hissy fit in all of these!? I’m glad that someone picked up where Galliano left off with his French Revolution dress and armor hybrid pieces of couture past. Tisci says Frida Kahlo, I say World of Warcraft armor merchant.

This collection is seriously giving me dreams about walking around and killing monsters while remaining gorgeous and untouched all time. I love it!

After reading the WoW armor merchant part, I went back through the collection again imagining WoW characters in them. (Now, I can’t look at that black/dark brown dress and coat without thinking of an undead lock.)

I’m not sure if I like the new layout of your blog.. maybe I’m not used to it yet. Anyway, I’m so glad you’re posting again! I’ve missed your posts a lot because they are perfection, divine, ethereal, etc. :-)

This collection inspired me so much its ridiculous. I cant even imagine how lovely it must feel to actually be able to wear one of these gorgeous gowns, even if it was temporary.

I like the new layout a lot!

Hello! I realize this is sort of off-topic but I needed to
ask. Does operating a well-established blog like yours take a lot of work?
I’m brand new to operating a blog but I do write in my diary daily.
I’d like to start a blog so I can easil share my
experience and thoughts online. Please let me know if
you have any kind of recommendations orr tips for brand new aspiring
    blog owners. Appreciate it!

My 1 year old boy would love the one with grey! I like to see how cozy my boy can be wrapped with this buuatifel blanket. My 4 years old boy also would love to play with the blanket to create his imaginary world. We will move to a new house 2 weeks later so it would be a memorial gift to them. Thank you for such a lovely giveaway!
